Die Element Wasser - Results from Greece

1. Waterdrops (dramatization by 1st grade) – story of 6 waterdrops illustrating the water cycle
2. The water flows (dramatization by 3rd grade) – the water’s journey to the sea following the song “Trehei to nero” (=“The water flows”)

Die Bilder stammen aus einem Theaterstück "Die erste Quelle", geschrieben von einem Lehrer der Schule und aufgeführt von Kindern der fünften Klasse während des Comeniustreffens in Griechenland im März.
Das Stück erzählt die Geschichte von einem König, der seine Ritter aussendet, um eine Wasserquelle zu suchen, da sein Land unter einer Wassernot leidet. Einer der Ritter trifft auf Elfen, die ihm eine verborgene Höhle zeigen, in der er einen magischen Stalagmiten findet. Dieser soll ihm alles Wasser geben, das das Land braucht.
The photos are from the theatrical play entitled “The first well” which was written and directed by the teachers of our school and performed by the 5th grade pupils during the comenius meeting in Greece. The play is about a king whose kingdom was lacking water and he sent his knights in search of a water spring. One of them got lucky when he met some fairies who showed him the secret cave where he’d find a magic stalagmite that would give him the water his country needed.
