Heute haben wir dieses tolle Video aus Polen bekommen. Die Kinder und Lehrer der Schule dort, haben sich intensiv mit dem Element Wasser beschäftigt.

Eine Reise nach Athen -Travelling to Athens 2

Impressions from children from Sumperk

Last week we started our journey in Šumperk and travelled about 2000 kms to Athens. We took a train, an underground , a bus and a plane from Prague to Frankfurt and then from Frankfurt to Athens. The flights were really exciting and we were all the time looking out of the windows. In the Athens airport we met Greek teachers and the Spanish team. We were really surprised how small Spanish pupils and also teachers are (O: Then we travelled by metro to the hotel Titania. It was really beautiful and we liked the entrance hall with the stars on the ceiling. There we met friends from other countries. At the begining we were shy to talk and we were only watching and smiling. We were also much tired after the log travelling so we went to slee soon. On Sunday morning we went for a trip by bus to the Poseidon Temple. We could see marathon runners out of the window. When the bus stopped, everyone was happy to see the sea and ran to the shore. Lukáš found an old Greek coin from 1968. Then our journey continued to the South. We climbed a hill and could see the Temple. The view on the sea and islandswas wonderful. Those small birds were also nice (O:  Then we got hungry and went to a nice restaurant on a beach. Teachers  were eating seafood  and we had souvlaki. In the restaurant we dared to talk to the Turkish pupils and our friendship started (O: It was a nice day and in the evening in the hotel we still continued talking. On Monday morning we went to school in Egaleo.

Thursday. We saw the Acropolis museum , the guide was the same as the day efore. She told us much but later on we decided to see all the exhibits (O: The history of Athens is really interesting, but we will need more time to remember it all . After that we had a walk with our teachers Milan and Heli. Boys went to see  LOGO shop and a demonstrativ in streets and girl went shopping. Dominika and Angelika bought new dresses and were very happy (O:

We like the Comenius corner , all the Picture on the walls and the theatre plays.  Thanks foor the nice cakes and all the food we could taste in the school. In the afternoon we went to Mc. Donalds and then we were walking in alight Athens. We reached Acropolis hill and went through the park to the small lanes full of small shops. We wondered when we saw all the free dogs in the streets and some homeless people… On Wednesday we went altogether by bus to the Ministry of Education and saw a gallery there. Then we went to the Acropolis and had a guided tour. The guide has been  really clever and nice, but we couldn´t catch all the stories she was telling , so we were just looking at the old nice sights and tried to imagine those old times. We like the Acropolis  a lot and also the view from the rock all over Athens. In the evening we went to a park at Syntagma, very peaceful place..we went to a playground and enjoyed time with our friends there.

In the evening we came to the Egaleo school again. We could see Greek dances and listened to the music. Some pupils were teaching u show to dance, it was funny.

Friday. We were looking forward to make masks for Carneval. We haven´t done much , but there was a nice and very profesional painter who decorated our faces , so we looked beautiful and went dancing. We enjoyed it.

Saturday morning. We were sad, because we had to say goodbye  to our new friends.

The journey home was very long , but we shared some time with the Spanish friends in Munich, so it wasn´t boring to wait for our flights home.

We wish to meet our friends again, let´s hope that our wishes will fulfill!

Eine Reise nach Athen - Travelling to Athens 1

"Am 9. März sind wir, das sind Paul, Tolga, Katharina und ich mit unseren beiden Lehrern Uwe Hillenbrand und Elisabeth Breiter voller Vorfreude und Erwartungen nach Athen geflogen. Das Hotel Titania mitten in der Stadt war für diese Woche mit den anderen Comeniuskindern aus Spanien, Tschechien und der Türkei unser Zuhause. Allerding haben wir dort nicht viel Zeit verbracht, da wir jeden Tag volles Programm hatten und deshalb erst spät abends müde ins Bett gefallen sind. Wir haben natürlich die typischen und wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Athen und Umgebung, wie z.B. die Akropolis, den Poseidontempel, den Nationalgarten und das Kap Sounio besucht und viel von der Stadt gesehen.

Natürlich haben wir uns auch den Unterricht in unserer Comeniuspartnerschule angeschaut. Die griechischen Kinder haben für uns ein kleines Theaterstück aufgeführt und wir haben einen kurzen Videofilm von uns gezeigt.
An einem Abend waren wir in der Schule zu einem Fest eingeladen mit griechischen Tänzen und Musik. Das griechische Essen fanden wir alle sehr lecker!

Katharina und ich sind mit unseren blonden Harren aufgefallen wie zwei Löwen im Zoo. In der Schule stand überall eine Traube von Kindern um uns herum, die uns bestaunt und über alles mögliche ausgefragt haben. Selbstverständlich mussten wir uns auf Englisch verständigen, so gut das eben ging.
Wir hatten wunderschönes Frühlingswetter und konnten manchmal sogar schon ohne Jacke herumlaufen.
Alle fanden es richtig toll und haben sich gut verstanden. Jederzeit würden wir so eine Reise gerne wiederholen.
Unsere Lehrer durften wir während dieser Zeit duzen - sie sind gute Freunde von uns geworden."

German-spanish teacher-exchange

Halbzeit! Drei Tage ist Noelia nun in Lauterbach und hat schon viel mit den Kindern der Klasse 1a und 1b unternommen. Sie hat mit ihnen Deutsch gelernt, sie hat mit ihnen Osterhähnchen gebastelt und Eier gefärbt und heute hat sie mit den Kindern "Torrijas" gebacken. Das ist spanisches Ostergebäck. Seeehr lecker!!! Dass es allen geschmeckt hat, konnte man daran sehen, dass alles aufgegessen wurde.

 

 

It is halftime! Noelia has spent already three days in Lauterbach, working with the children mainly from class 1a and 1b. She has learned already many german words, she has made handcraft with them and they have been colouring eggs. Today Noelia has been baking "Torrijas", a typical spanish easterbakery.

Everybody loved it, as you could see there have been no leftovers :-)

Noelia Rodriguez and Barbara Winter have switched their posts for one week

Diese Woche ist eine besondere Woche! Vom 17.03. - 23.0.3.2013 wird Barbara Winter  an unserer spanischen Partnerschule in Parrillas unterrichten, während Noelia Rodriguez, unsere Schule besucht.
This week is a very special week! From 17.03. until 23.03.2013, Barbara Winter will teach in Parrillas, Spain, while Noelia Rodriguez is teaching in our school.

Mit Barbara Winter sind zwei Kinder mitgereist, Laila Mohad und Emilia Michel, beides Schülerinnen der vierten Klasse unserer Schule. Sie besuchen den Unterricht in Parrillas und werden das Leben in einer Gastfamilie kennenlernen.
Noelia Rodriguez wird in dieser Woche überwiegend den Unterricht der Klasse 1a und 1b begleiten.
Schon heute hat man die Freude in den Gesichtern der Kinder gesehen, die ganz stolz der neuen Lehrkraft deutsche Wörter beibringen wollten. Noelia ihrerseits genießt den Aufenthalt bei uns und auch Barbara Winter hat schon sehr positiv von ihrem ersten Tag in Spanien berichtet.
Wir freuen uns auf weitere Berichte und wünschen den Reisenden viel Spaß.
With Barbara two children are visiting the school in Spain. Laila and Emilia, both children of class four will join the lessons in Parrillas and they will stay with a hostfamily.
Already today you could see the happiness of the children in Spain and Germany, enjoying the time with the guests.

Bericht aus Athen - Greetings from Athens

Erster Reisebericht aus Griechenland!

Am Samstag 09.03.2013 sind Paul, Lea, Katharina und Tolga mit Herrn Hillenbrand und Frau Breiter zum Projekttreffen nach Griechenland geflogen.

Sie haben nicht nur das schönste Wetter zur Zeit, sondern erleben und sehen ganz viel.

On Saturday, 09.03.2013 Paul, Lea, Katharina and Tolga have started their journey to Greece with two teachers: Uwe Hillenbrand and Elisabeth Breiter.

They are taking part in a projectmeeting at our partnerschool in Egaleo, Athens.

Gemeinsam mit Kindern und Lehrern aus Spanien, Tschechien, Finnland, der Türkei und Polen besuchen unsere sechs Comeniusreisenden unsere griechische Partnerschule in Athen, Egaleo. Dort wurden sie am Montag mit einer zweistündigen Aufführung von Tänzen und Theater begrüßt.

Together with children and teachers from Spain, Czech Republic, Finland, Turkey and Poland they are visiting the school, enjoying the sunny weather and they have seen already a lot from the town.

On Monday children from the greek school welcomed the guests with two hours dancing and theater.

Am Sonntag stand ein Ausflug ans Meer und zum Poseidontempel auf dem Programm.

Hier seht ihr unsere deutsche Delegation genau an diesem Tempel.

On Sunday the whole group has visited the temple of Poseidon and also the ocean.

Here you can see the German group in front of that temple.

Ganz besondere Attraktionen sind Katharina und Lea :-) Beide fallen in Griechenland natürlich durch ihre blonden Haar auf.

Und Paul wird für seine Sportlichkeit bewundert.

Katharina, Lea, Paul und Tolga haben dann heute, 12.03.2013, am Unterricht teilgenommen.

A big attraction are Lea and Katharina because of their blond hair :-)

And Paul is admired for his sportivitiy.

Today, 12.03.2013, all children have joined the lessons in school, while the teachers had a meeting to exchange results of the work and discuss the following steps and set a timetable for the next half year.

Wir wünschen den Comeniusreisenden noch viel Spaß in Griechenland!!!
