Forscherstation: Ausgepustet oder nicht?

Blowing a candle, isn't it easy?

Kann man eine Kerze auspusten, wenn ein Hindernis dazwischen steht?..

Can you blow a candle even there is a bottle standing between you and the flame?

 

Man kann! Luft strömt an der Flasche vorbei und ich kann die Kerze auspusten!

Yes you can! Here you can learn that air is streaming and passing the bottle.

Ist ein aufgepusteter Luftballon wirklich schwerer?
How heavy is air? Can you messure it?












Ja er ist tatsächlich schwerer und drückt die Waage nach unten!

Luft hat ein Gewicht! Die Luft in einer 1l Flasche ist ungefähr so schwer wie 1 1/2 Gummibärchen

Air is heavy! You can see it with this easy experiment using two airballons.

Air in the bottle!

 

Eine Flasche wird mit Wasser gefüllt und drückt die Luft aus der Flasche. Die Luft steigt nach oben!

Fill the bottle with water and you can see the air streaming up.

 

Wer schafft es, die Luft wieder in die Flasche zu blasen, ohne die Flasche aus dem Wasser zu nehmen?

Can you put air back into the bottle without taking the bottle out of the tank?

Luft drückt das Wasser aus der Flasche wieder raus!
Luft hat Kraft!
Yes you can! You need a stro and you have to blow hardly. Air will displace the water in the bottle.

Forscherstation: Papierkügelchen Pusten
Can you blow little paper balls in an empty bottle?
 Kann man Papierkügelchen in eine Flasche pusten?

   

Alle haben es probiert, aber keiner konnte die Kügelchen in die Flasche pusten.

Alles wird ganz genau beobachtet!

Weil schon Luft in der Flasche ist, ist es schwer die Kügelchen hineinzupusten.

Die Luft muss erst raus, damit die Kügelchen reinkönnen.

Luft braucht Platz!

It is almost impossible. Everbody tried, but nobody managed to do it.

There is already air in the bottle. If you try now to blow the paper balls inside, also the air you are blowing tries to get into the bottle. 

This air is displacing the air that is inside the bottle, the outcoming air hinders the paper balls to go in.

Kann man eine Zeitung zum Fliegen bringen, wenn man auf das Lineal schlägt?
Flying newspaper: Can you make a newspaper fly with a simple ruler?

Jeder durfte es ausprobieren, aber keiner hat es geschafft!
Luft drückt von oben auf die Zeitung und hält sie am Tisch fest!
Das ist der Luftdruck!
This experiment is wonderful to show children that airpressure exsists.
It is impossible to make the newspaper fly with hitting the ruler. The airpressure on top of the newspaper is the reason.
